Swimmers and sea rescue crew team up

Due to Covid-19 and the lack of pools in the area, NSRI members were left stranded, without a pool to train in and keep fit.

Margate swimming Club teamed up with NSRI and has registered all crew members as MSC swimmers, in order for them to train and keep their fitness levels up.

The club was pleased and fortunate to be in a position to allow them to train.

The club takes seriously the opportunity to assist the community and couldn’t think of anything better than this, as NSRI plays such a vital role in saving lives in sea rescues along the coast.
