Adult nappies are fairly expensive, and because of this, Khanya Hospice isn’t able to afford them for its many patients who require them. Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald, lives by the phrase, ‘as you give, so shall you receive’.
“We cannot stand with our hands closed,” he said. “We have sown through the years and God is blessing us in many ways like receiving this wonderful donation of adult nappies last week.”
The adult nappies were donated by Umkomaas local, Preashnee Sewdayal, who said that she made this donation as part of her project for a training programme at a religious organisation.
Hospice staff thanked Preashnee and to her friends and family who had supported her in donating these packets of nappies.
