She was taken to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
A husband and wife were enjoying a scenic beach ride on the South Coast at Trafalgar when the woman allegedly lost her balance and fell off the horse, sustaining grazes and soft tissue injuries to her neck and ribs.
Glen Preston of Med-Evac said the operator immediately requested their assistance to assess and transport the woman to hospital for further investigation and provided initial first aid and assistance to the couple.
She was immobilised as a precaution and transported to hospital for assessment.
