Show your support during Hospice Week

Aside from cash donations, clothes, furniture, crockery and cutlery will also gladly be accepted.

Khanya Hospice staff is celebrating Hospice Week this week, having started on May 3 and going through to May 10.

During this time, awareness is created about the free work Khanya Hospice staff do for its patients in the area.

“Our nurses are excellent in pain and symptom control,” said nursing manager Sue van Rijsbergen.

“While offering these free services, we have not escaped the effects of Covid-19 and we do need some financial help so please try and donate to us, especially this week.”

Aside from cash donations, clothes, furniture, crockery and cutlery will also gladly be accepted.

To those who wish to lend a helping hand, volunteers are always needed at hospice shops.

Contact Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald at 083 5978985 or hospice@khanyahospice.co.za for more info.
