Decomposed head: Police appeal to community for information

Community members are requested to help.

After the gruesome discovery of the decomposed head of a female in Betania on Monday this week, police are requesting the public to come forward with any information that will assist them in the investigation.

The head was found by a taxi driver outside Bongani Mdunjana’s container kitchen.

It had decomposed and begun to smell.

Police are asking anyone who may have female family members ‘missing’ in the last few weeks to contact investigating officer, Lieutenant Colonel Amos Sikhosana of Port Shepstone.

Sikhosana can be contacted at  039 6881090  or 082 5159775.
