Pop-up market a hit

While being seen as a business opportunity for many, the market was also a great social setting for everyone who attended.

Renishaw Hills, a lifestyle village based near Scottburgh, recently hosted a pop-up market at its community centre for residents and visitors.

Brenda and Jan Ochse serve customers scrumptious food at the pop-up market.

While being seen as a business opportunity for many, the market was also a great social setting for everyone who attended.

“It’s wonderful that with all the relevant Covid-19 protocols, we’re able to start having social events, such as the pop-up market which makes Renishaw Hills such a fantastic place to live,” said Phil Barker, chairman of the Homeowners’ Association.

Seen at the pop-up market is (from left) Ron Waldburger, Sue Martin and Reg Turner.

Mr Barker also thanks those involved in organising such a successful market.
