Pageant encourages positivity

Twelve finalists have been selected in the Miss Port Edward pageant and the winner will be crowned at the Wild Coast Sun on December 4.

“Miss Port Edward is all about setting a platform for youngsters to discover themselves and play positive roles in our society, said Mimi Qatsi pageant founder and SA Ultimate Top Model 2021 winner.

Mimi has partnered with various sponsors and the winner will walk away with a prize to the value of R180 000.

“My gratitude to community members who are supporting us voting for the girls and our sponsors,” added Mimi.

Voting closes on November 30.

So far, the finalists have attended a waste management class provided by a sponsor. Also, on International Clean-up Day on September 18, Mimi invites all eco-warriors to join the finalists for a clean-up. Meet at the Wild Waves Waterpark at 9am.

All Covid-19 protocols will be followed on the day.
