Looted items go to good use

Hospice does a lot of work throughout the mid-South Coast and up in the Amanzimtoti area as well, therefore it was fortunate enough to have these items.

Amanzimtoti Saps decided that it would rather have some of the many recovered looted food items from the unrest donated to non-profitable organisations in the area instead of having it destroyed or thrown away.

One of the beneficiaries of some of the items was the local renowned NGO, Khanya Hospice.

“Believe me, this will come in very handy for our patients and the people that we have been serving in the Amanzimtoti area too for the past 36 years,” said Neil McDonald. “A massive thank you to the Amanzimtoti Saps team for helping us.”
