Open day to showcase local businesses

MSC Promise Foundation is already in talks with SMMEs throughout KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.

Non-profit organisation, Mid South Coast (MSC) Promise Foundation calls on Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in the Umdoni area to unite for an open day to showcase everyone’s companies and products during these trying times.

The NPO hopes that this open day will allow business owners to network with similar SMMEs to grow their businesses.

To start Umdoni’s MSC SMME project, interested people are requested to contact the NPO on 073 1518538 for more information.

The NPO is also planning to run small markets where SMMEs can start selling their products.

This project is scheduled for early 2022 and those interested will get a chance to be on MSC Radio to promote their business as well.

MSC Radio is a subsidiary of Mid South Coast Promise Foundation and is based in Umzinto.

The radio station has a project of its own and intends to open a recording studio in Umdoni. It will benefit the community as it will allow local artists an opportunity to create recordings closer to home and at more affordable rates. This will also in turn help sustain the radio station as it receives no funding.

To start the recording studio, an amount of R20 000 is required. The team has already raised R6 000 and asks sponsors to contact the above number should they wish to assist.
