• Paint and Sip for a Pawsitive Cause is on Saturday, September 26 from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Italian Club, Umkomaas. 19 puppies are currently counting on donations. Every ticket helps provide food, care and vet treatment for rescued dogs and puppies. For bookings contact 076-372-5100.
• A Colour Fun Walk in aid of Khanya Hospice takes place at Scottburgh Main Beach on September 27, from 09:00. Registration is at the main beach. For details, contact 072-507-8773. Registration for the walk is from 07:00 to 09:00.
• September 28 is world Rabies Day. Contact Scott Vet on 039-976-1418 for an appointment to book your pet’s free rabies vaccination. This runs from September 28 to October 2. Together we can create a rabies-free future.

• Bev Vermeulen is asking for donations of wool to create blankets for children living with cancer. Please contact 073-655-2750. Together we can make a difference.
• Pennipainters is a ladies’ art group. They meet at Relton Hall every Wednesday at 10:00 to paint, exchange ideas and drink coffee. If you’re an enthusiastic artist pop in and paint any Wednesday.
