Manaba building catches fire

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.

A store in Manaba (Sogo Home) caught fire earlier today (Sunday, February 16).

Ugu District Municipality said its Fire and Rescue team collaborated with the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality fire and Rescue Services to respond to the fire.

“The teams provided support in dampening smoldering debris after fire extinguishers had contained the blaze,” said the municipality.

It added that for Ugu Disaster Management Fire and Rescue Service Emergencies, please contact 066 2846752.
