Umdoni beaches reopened after flash flood
The municipality thanked the community for its patience and cooperation during the temporary closures.
Umdoni Municipality is pleased to inform residents and visitors that all previously closed beaches within Umdoni are now open to the public.
Following recent heavy rains, conditions have now stabilized. Water quality has improved significantly, with clean water observed along the backline.
While beaches are open, swimmers are advised to remain in the shallows for their safety. Lifeguards and officials will continue to monitor conditions closely.
Please adhere to all posted safety notices and instructions from lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
