Boboyi criminals warned

Mseleku explained that the CPF members are voluntary crime fighters who assist the police in freeing Boboyi from the grip of criminals.

Criminals are warned that their days of breaking into houses in Boboyi are numbered. Bayanda Mseleku, chairperson of the Boboyi Community Policing Forum (CPF), said criminals are being actively pursued.

At a meeting at the Boboyi Ward 23 Community Hall, Mseleku announced that the Boboyi CPF is on the ground looking for troublesome individuals who mug, steal, break into homes, or commit violent acts.

The meeting was called by the iNduna Bonginkosi Cele of KwaNdwalane Traditional Council to discuss a range of matters, including crime prevention and community development. It was well attended by various stakeholders, including police, the policing forum, local councillor Bheki Cele, Chief iNduna Sibunge Mazubane, and locals.

Mseleku explained that the CPF members are voluntary crime fighters who assist the police in freeing Boboyi from the grip of criminals.

“We are here to assist police in reducing crime. We are not police, but we are residents who do not sleep at night when police are sleeping,” said Mseleku.

Chief iNduna Mazubane warned that the nation will have no leaders in future if the youth is involved in crime and substance use.
