Armed robbery stops traffic on N2

A case of armed robbery was opened at Saps Port Shepstone.

A truck driver and his assistant were forced to stop on the N2 toll road near Umtentweni on Tuesday morning this week.

Saps Ugu District Communications said it’s alleged that at least five people in a silver Renault Triber pointed a firearm at the occupants of the truck, demanding they stop the vehicle, and robbed them of their cellphones.
