Abandoned vehicle leads to copper bust
A large amount of cable was located in the vehicle and surrounding area.

Stolen copper cables estimated to be of a high cash value were discovered on Tuesday evening last week.
Lazer 911 Rapid Response units responded to a call from a guard in distress who reported suspects jumping over a fence at the Saps police pound in Marburg.
Back-up units of Lazer 911 Tactical were dispatched, and teams swiftly surrounded the property via a gravel road next to Eskom.
The officers also noticed an abandoned vehicle.
They searched the vehicle and found tools and equipment used in cable theft.
A large amount of cable was located in the vehicle and surrounding area.
Saps attended the scene, and all recovered items were handed over.
