An inquest has been opened for investigation after Aralaginnal Pillay (72) was found dead in her home in Carnation Road in White City on Friday May 23.
The office of Saps Corporate Communication Ugu District confirmed the incident. “It’s believed that furniture in a room caught fire. The cause of the fire will be determined during an investigation.”
It is believed that Pillay lived alone, and that a relative found her body.
