Three killed in separate N2 shootings

Cases of murder are under investigation at Saps Ezinqoleni.

Two separate shooting incidents on the N2 have left three people dead and one injured.

In the first incident, Andile Nozabelo Mnyandu (30) was killed last Wednesday when the vehicle she was travelling in came under fire. During the incident, the driver allegedly lost control and crashed into the guard rails near Thuvukezi.

In a separate case on Sunday, August 10, Kwenzokuhle Nzama (49) and Philile Dlamini (40) were fatally shot while travelling in a white Chevrolet Aveo on the N2 in Ezinqoleni. A 16-year-old girl who was also in the vehicle sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby clinic for treatment.

The Ugu Saps Communication office confirmed that cases of murder are under investigation at Saps Ezinqoleni.

Police confirmed that no arrests have been made so far, and the motive in both cases are currently unknown.
