Car thieves arrested in Harding

The Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Two men, aged 27 and 42, were arrested in Santombe in Harding last Saturday for possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.

The arrest was part of an intelligence-driven operation by the Harding Task Team in partnership with Maser Security.

Officers found a Toyota Etios with two sets of number plates on the front and rear, and no licence disc.

The Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

The two men have since appeared in the Harding Magistrate’s Court.

The case remains under investigation.
