The circumstances surrounding a shooting at Hibberdene on April 11 will form part of an attempted murder and inquest investigation after a man was found dead, and a woman critically injured.
According to Saps Ugu District Communications, Hibberdene police responded to the incident.
“Police found a woman who had been shot multiple times as well as a man, aged 64, who was dead. The man had sustained two gunshot wounds to the upper body. The woman was transported to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment, ” said police.
A revolver and a rifle were found on the scene as well as over 200 live rounds of ammunition for various firearms.
Police investigations are continuing.
