Two men arrested in Izotsha for vehicle theft
The owner was grateful for the recovery of his vehicle.
Margate police arrested two men in Izotsha on the P200 on May 16 after they had allegedly stolen a bakkie in Margate the previous evening.
The owner had parked his Kia bakkie on Marine Drive, Margate and on his return his vehicle was gone. A case of theft of motor vehicle was opened at Saps Margate.
“Police arrested two men, aged 36 and 23, for possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle on the P200 in Izotsha. They appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on May 18 and the case was postponed for further investigation,” said Saps Ugu District Communications.
The complainant was pleased with members of Saps Margate and local law enforcement who recovered his vehicle, and the swift investigation and arrests.
