Suspects nabbed in Umkomaas, stolen property recovered
Tools, starter motors and stripped copper wires were found in the possession of two men.
An alert AT Security response officer noticed two men behaving suspiciously opposite a petrol station in Roseneath, Umkomaas on May 24 at about 18:30.
The officer stopped and searched them and the bags they were carrying. They were found in possession of tools, starter motors and stripped copper wires.
After they were questioned, it was established that a nearby car workshop had been burgled.
The men were then detained at Umkomaas Saps for possession of suspected stolen property.
