Teen goes missing off Sea Park beach
The search for the missing teen will continue today.
Emergency services responded to a call for help yesterday when a teenage boy (18), went missing while swimming off Sea Park.
The incident unfolded after 17:00.
Sea Park, south of Port Shepstone, is a non-swimming beach and is not manned by lifeguards.
Glen Preston of Med-Evac, said Med-Evac attended the scene, together with NSRI and Saps Search and Rescue.
“The boy went under the water before emergency services arrived. The search was suspended and will continue today by police,” he said.
