New signage makes a difference

Anti-littering signs have also been placed at Port Edward's main beaches.

New conservation-related signage has been erected by the Umtamvuna Marine Conservancy (UMC) at the Silver Beach highwater mark in Port Edward.

There are educational signs about East Coast fish and shells and five sponsored anti-littering signs in memory of UMC stalwarts.

The anti-littering signs have also been placed at Port Edward’s main beaches.

The UMC is doing incredible work in the area and has just published their first newsletter.
