Security teams make stolen property arrests in Umkomaas

Some items were stolen from a school in Umgababa.

AT Security crime prevention team received a call last Sunday morning in connection with possible stolen property being sold in the Umkomaas CBD.

A joint operation between AT Security and Gladiator Security resulted in the successful apprehension of two men who were selling two computer desk tops.

On further investigation, it was established that the items had been stolen from a school in Umgababa.

The men were detained at Umkomaas Saps for possession of suspected stolen property and theft.

Later that afternoon, the AT Security crime prevention team received a report of a man trying to sell suspected stolen property in Roseneath, Umkomaas.

Members headed to the scene, apprehended the man and recovered a gas cylinder.

He was also detained at Umkomaas Saps for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
