Port Shepstone accident claims motorcyclist’s life

A woman, who was a passenger on the bike, remains in critical condition in hospital.

A 46-year-old man on a motorbike was the victim of a fatal collision on Tuesday this week.

The incident, which involved another vehicle, occurred on the Harding main road (R102) in Oslo Beach, Port Shepstone at about 19:30.

Saps Ugu District Communications said the cause of the accident is being investigated via a culpable homicide case.

“The deceased has yet to be officially identified. A woman passenger, who was on the bike at the time of the collision, is in critical condition in hospital.”
