Book lovers invited to Silent Book Club gathering in Ramsgate

Readers of all ages and interests are invited to attend this Sunday (15th).

Book lovers on the KZN South Coast are invited to enjoy a quiet hour of shared reading when Silent Book Club Ramsgate hosts its next meetup at Calzones Pizzeria this Sunday (15th) from 12:00 to 14:00.

The lovely venue is located on 2450 Marine Drive in Ramsgate.

The concept is simple and welcoming – bring your own book and settle in for an uninterrupted hour of silent reading alongside fellow readers. There is no assigned book and no discussion during reading time, allowing everyone to read at their own pace in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.

In addition to the silent reading hour, the event will feature an optional book swap in collaboration with FAIR’s Free Little Library.

Everyone are welcome to bring along a book they are happy to pass on and swap with others, take a book and leave a book from FAIR’s collection, or donate a title to the FAIR Little Library. Participation in the book swap is entirely optional, and those who prefer to simply read are more than welcome to do so.

After the reading session, attendees can stay on for a casual mingle, browse available books, and enjoy something to eat or drink at Calzones.

The Silent Book Club Ramsgate meetup offers a refreshing way to connect with fellow book lovers while still enjoying the solitude of a good book.
