Ugu staff celebrate academic milestone
Zimasa Mgwili and Sithembile Majoka have earned Bachelor of Honours degrees in Public Management from UKZN.
Two dedicated employees from Ugu District Municipality, Zimasa Mgwili and Sithembile Majoka, have added an inspiring chapter to their personal and professional journeys after graduating from the University of KwaZulu-Natal recently.
The pair were conferred with Bachelor of Honours degrees in Public Management, a significant achievement that reflects not only their commitment to personal growth, but also their passion for serving communities with excellence.
Balancing demanding careers in local government with the pressures of academic life is no easy feat. Yet, through discipline, perseverance and a shared vision for development, both Mgwili and Majoka rose to the challenge, proving that hard work and determination can open doors to new opportunities. Their journey does not end here.
Both graduates are currently pursuing their Master’s degrees at UKZN, continuing to sharpen their expertise and deepen their impact in the field of public management.
