JUST IN: Missing 16-year-old Claudine McGregor has been found safe

The matter has since been referred to Saps for any further investigation or follow-up deemed necessary.

It has been confirmed that Claudine McGregor has been found safe, who was reported missing on Thursday, July 23, has been located following extensive enquiries and investigative efforts.

In a statement, Mi7 said it had established contact with the teenager and confirmed that she is safe.

“The matter has since been referred to Saps for any further investigation or follow-up deemed necessary,” the statement said.

Mi7 thanked the community, security stakeholders and everyone who assisted in the search.

“We understand the concern her disappearance has caused and thank the community, security stakeholders and all those who assisted in efforts to locate her.”

The security company added that it is reassured Claudine is safe and asked that the matter now be allowed to follow the appropriate process.

No further details have been released.
