The Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast is looking forward to hosting the 40th annual Grannies’ Walk, set to take place at St Michaels Beach on August 10.
Marking four decades of community spirit, friendship and giving back, this much-loved South Coast tradition invites everyone to come together to honour not only grandmothers, but all women who have made a difference.
The event will once again be hosted along the picturesque parkrun route, starting and finishing at C-Bali Restaurant.
Participants will enjoy a leisurely walk or run along the stunning coastline, with plenty of entertainment, exciting prizes and delicious refreshments awaiting at the finishing point.
Entry is R100 per person, with all proceeds supporting local charitable projects and assisting deserving organisations within the local community.
The Rotary Club is also appealing to local businesses, entrepreneurs and community members to partner in making this milestone event a success.
Sponsorships and donations of boerewors, rolls, sparkling wine, orange juice, bananas and prizes are especially welcome.
Every contribution helps ensure that the Grannies’ Walk continues its proud tradition of raising funds for local charities while bringing the community together.
Whether you choose to walk, sponsor, volunteer or donate, your support will help make the 40th Grannies Walk another memorable and meaningful celebration of community, generosity and Women’s Day.
