This year’s Curro Arts Superhero (CAS) event showcased an incredible display of talent and dedication.

With 100 performers, including three staff members, participating in group and solo performances ranging from songs and dances to musical renditions and spoken word, art and photography, the event was a true celebration of creativity.

On the performance day, Creston College achieved four Participation awards, 31 Bronze Tigers awards (65% to 74.9%), 49 Silver Surfers awards (75% to 84.9%), 42 Black Raven awards (85% to 94.9%), and an astounding 14 Kryptonite awards (95% to 100%). Notably, this year saw an increase in Kryptonite recipients compared to the previous year.

Madison Sayers did a ballet piece in the Move It category.

In addition to the performances delivered, 29 art pieces were submitted and adjudicated on the same day, adding another dimension to the event’s artistic showcase.

Results for the College Marimbas band, the Senior Primary and Junior Marimba bands, and 37 submission category entries, including photography, short stories, poems, coding and Tik-Tok videos, are still to come.
