Hlanganani flies flag high at athletics meet
For Valentine’s Day learners created and wrote stories.
The Department of Education hosted the Ugu District athletics selection at Suid Natal High last Tuesday.
Hlanganani Preparatory‘s Amahle Magxala, Aphile Mzelemu, Iyazi Rubuluza, Mihle Dindi, Obuhle Mthembu, Thandolubanzi Mhlongo and Anele Ntloko attended this event.
Thanks to their coach, Nomnotho Zulu, for keeping the Hlanganani flag flying high.
The school celebrated Valentine’s Day, and learners were asked to create and write stories about Valentine’s.
They were learning and celebrating at the same time. They were allowed to wear civvies (red, pink and white).
Plenty of food and refreshments were on sale. They had a concert for the learners who wanted to dance and modelling for those more confident.
The day ended on a happy note for some of the learners who received prizes as winners in the modelling and dancing competitions.
