Reading is continuously encouraged at Izotsha Primary. Senior grades and younger grades pair up, with the senior learners setting a good example and encouraging the younger learners to read with expression and to enjoy reading.

The intermediate and senior phase learners had several sports fixtures against Suid Natal.

The U13A hockey girls played a hard match, giving it their all and won 2-1, with Tommi Johnson and Jessica Jansen van Vuuren being the goal scorers.

The U13A rugby boys, despite putting in an enormous amount of effort, were outplayed and lost the game.

The U13A netball team lost 14 – 21 and the U13B team lost 3 – 18. Despite losing the matches, the girls persevered and fought hard right until the end, with positive determination.

May will be a busy sporting and academic month, being the winter sports term as well as a formal assessment term with controlled tests beginning in June.
