DEAR Editor,-
There is so much bad news in the world today, but I want to share a good story about someone who touched my heart.
Recently I was in Pick n Pay buying a few things and when I got to the cashier, I realised that I did not have enough money, so I set a few things aside.
A friendly black man pointed out the things I had set aside and when I explained my predicament, he insisted on paying so that I could have those items too.
Linda, I did not ask for your surname, but you will know who you are. You made my day and I really feel touched by your kindness. I know that you do not expect public recognition, but I want the town to know that there are good people like you, and I will always remember your act of kindness towards me.
Thank you, Linda. May you be blessed.
