DEAR Editor,-
We have been without water in Southport since last Sunday (February 23) and I know people in other places have been without for a lot longer than that.
My question to Ugu is – What do Ugu employees hope to achieve by disrupting services to the local community, discriminating against those that are still trying to do their jobs and damaging equipment and property of their employer?

I understand that some employees are on strike because of certain issues, but don’t employees think that ‘they are cutting off their nose off to spite their face’ or ‘biting the hand that feeds them’?
They are losing any sympathy or understanding that the community may have had for their actions.
Workers must please think about this and wake up before it is too late.
