For all the motorists who saw me running down Old St Faith Road sporting a swimsuit and swimming googles on Wednesday morning.
I thought you should know that I just went for a quick dip, thanks to our municipal service provider, Ugu District Municipality.

Thankfully the weather is good this time of year, so it wasn’t too chilly.
I love swimming, but not knowing how deep the ‘pool’ will be can be a bit scary.
Don’t worry, I closed my eyes, took one for the team and waded in.
I could still hear the fresh water bubbling and it actually felt like I was in a large Jacuzzi.
So, just letting everyone know – if you don’t have water and perhaps need a bath – there is a lovely freshwater swimming pool on Old St Faith.
Regret, no nudity – you will be fined for breaking a bylaw!
