DEAR Editor:
Thank you so much to my fellow nature lovers for bringing this very frustrating problem to light.
I live in Uvongo, where I walk my dogs every day.
The sight that greets me is rubbish and more rubbish.

In the past I have picked up litter as I walk, but the litterbugs just keep on inconsiderately dumping their trash, day after day.
I am very sure they do not do this in their own neighborhood!
Are black bags so expensive? Do they realise that rubbish attracts rodents?
It breaks my heart that people are not proud of their heritage.
One lot of litter consisting of soiled nappies has now gone green as it has been there since before lockdown.
What about people who do not have jobs? Pay them a wage and let them clean up.
I would even do it if the municipality paid me – we pay such high rates why should we do it for nothing?
