OPINION: ‘Young journalist can be a relevant and assertive millennial voice’

I look forward to seeing more from her, perhaps with some similar content as I feel she could be an entirely relevant and assertive millennial voice.

DEAR Editor;

I would like to applaud your journalist’s column in last week’s edition (March 12).

My granddaughter sent it to me as I currently live in Pretoria, she was rather fascinated and inspired by it, perhaps because she is around the same age as your writer.

As a retired journalist myself, I found her style to be witty, punchy and all round inspiring.

Her humour was tasteful and entirely relevant in today’s context.

I look forward to seeing more from her, perhaps with some similar content as I feel she could be an entirely relevant and assertive millennial voice.

I rarely have found 22-year-olds who write with such finesse yet make it feel fun and relatable.

Your writer seems like she could be a real little firecracker, I look forward to watching her blossom.
