OPINION: ‘Give credit where credit is due’

Having seen the negative publicity doing the rounds prior to my visit I attended with no small degree of anxiety and low expectations.

DEAR Editor;

I have always believed in giving credit where credit is due so I would like to express, via your esteemed publication, my appreciation to the health professionals and support staff in charge of the vaccination venue at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre on May 20 this year.

Having seen the negative publicity doing the rounds prior to my visit I attended with no small degree of anxiety and low expectations.

I am pleased to report that the process proceeded smoothly and effectively with the friendly co-operation of all involved.

From my arrival to departure the process took less than one hour. Kudos to all involved.
