DEAR Editor;
Hibiscus Hospital would like to convey its appreciation to all members of our community for galvanising as a cohesive team to protect our region and our families during this challenging last week.
A special word of appreciation to:
1. Municipal leadership
2. Business owners for their assistance in cash and kind
3. Community leaders for their stewardship
4. Taxi industry for its support.
Your unwavering support and sacrifices are worthy of praise. While much needs to be done for the province’s return to normality, we need to continue to respect the rights of all South Africans.
Our predominant purpose remains to protect lives and property.
Our rainbow nation, has faced many challenges in its history and has always come off stronger due to our unwavering spirit of ubuntu and masakhane. We are one nation regardless of race, religion or creed.
While we remain in the midst of the Covid pandemic, please adhere to necessary protocols, stay safe and keep well. May the Almighty bless you all.
RICHARD MILLS (CEO) and DR AYOOB BUX (CHAIRMAN)
On behalf of all at Hibiscus Hospital Port Shepstone
