OPINION: ‘South Africans stood up against looters’

Sometimes a strong arm is required and an ardent heart; a sharp mind and iron-clad resolve are called for!

DEAR Editor;

South Africans have always stood side by side in times of difficulty and this can be seen by communities in cities, towns and farming areas forming groups to prevent looters from entering areas identified as places to protect.

Sometimes a strong arm is required and an ardent heart; a sharp mind and iron-clad resolve are called for!

This is a time when all South Africans, young and old must pull together and endeavour to rectify whatever problems that have been bestowed on us by lack of leadership, and those at fault will see that their conniving to bring our nation down has backfired and is bringing us together come hell or high water.

The violence in RSA was felt around the world, as was shown by the Proteas in Ireland in the second game and when things at home had calmed down their confidence returned in the third game, wearing black armbands and holding their heads up high.

In South Africa, we will not walk alone!
