DEAR Editor;
Well done to the Ugu District Municipality team which worked very hard to fix a burst water pipe in Sunwich Port.
A transformer and a huge palm tree made it very difficult to access the burst pipe due to three electric cables being connected to the transformer.
Although the majority of Sunwhich Port was without water from Monday, water was restored on Thursday.
My sincere gratitude goes out to the following Ugu team members who worked tirelessly to rectify the situation: Moses Khowe (supervisor), Mboneni Mzobe (second assistant), Lungisani Ninja and Alec Hlope.
