OPINION: ‘Keep your dogs in a fenced yard’

If it wasn't for the speed humps, God knows what could have happened to these poor little animals with all the reckless driving I have seen.

DEAR Editor;

It breaks my heart to see dogs out on the streets in our town all the time – specifically in Park Rynie.

Near the now closed Park Rynie post office, there are two or three dogs there that are constantly on the road.

If it wasn’t for the speed humps, God knows what could have happened to these poor little animals with all the reckless driving I have seen.

Please people, if these are your dogs and not strays, make sure they’re in a fenced yard.

These animals do not know any better when they get out the gate and could end up getting seriously hurt out on the roads.

I’ve seen these dogs in particular up and down the road for a few months and I’ve seen them going in and out of someone’s property, so I’m assuming they have an owner there.
So, if these are your dogs, please take care of them before anything awful happens. The one little dog already has a limp.
