OPINION: ‘Dear businesses, please try and do better’

On the other hand, the competency and work ethic of a few places of businesses is sadly very poor.

DEAR Editor;

While I adore our South Coast, I must say that the reoccurring poor service from some of our businesses is disheartening.

I have been to some places where customer satisfaction and efficiency is absolute priority, well done to these businesses and please keep it up.

On the other hand, the competency and work ethic of a few places of businesses is sadly very poor.

I’m not saying the customer is always right, but the customer would at least like to be heard or at the very least, attended to on time.

Nobody likes to be kept waiting and I understand that emergencies do happen, but at least make the proper arrangements, especially in a professional capacity.
