They are planning on sending out 450 care bags. The following items would be placed in the bags: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, cream and a face cloth.
In February, Cupcakes for Hope asked Cupcake Angels to pledge cupcakes and raise funds.
In Scottburgh, two Cupcake Angels exceeded their pledges due to the overwhelming support by the community. The community supported this cause and everyone who participated in our February fun walk got a cupcake.

Lisa Strassburg had an unforgettable experience at Pennington beach last Sunday. She is most grateful to the members of the community who assisted, especially the woman whose name she didn’t get, who without hesitation swam out into an extremely dangerous situation to assist her partner Wayde Botes and Liam Strassburg from a near drowning. They are both fine, albeit traumatised. This could have had a very different ending. Thanks to all.
