* A festive arty party is being held at the Italian Club in aid of the support of homeless animals. Paint a Christmas gnome or a funky Christmas tree. All materials are supplied, as well as a glass of bubbly. Join in the fun on Saturday, December 21, at the Italian Club in Umkomaas. It is R230 per person. * Bookworms’ Tea Garden and Book Sales are raising funds for Made for More at Olive Cow & Co. in Renishaw on Tuesdays from 09:00 to 12 noon. The cost is R50 for three snacks and bottomless tea or coffee. For further information, contact 082 3442172 (books) or 084 7638883 (group bookings).

* The Mongoose Tea Garden is open every Wednesday at TC Robertson Nature Reserve from 09:00 to 12 noon. The cost is R50 per person and includes coffee and tea and five snacks. For more information, contact contact 082 6227699.
