Z-Line Incorp’s CEO Angelia Wood is proud to celebrate Neo Mokhele (12) for completing his holiday tutoring programme held at the Dandelion Office from October 6-10. The fun-filled week covered topics like tech and online safety, arts and emotional skills, Maths and science fun, life skills and civic education, and careers, money and social skills. This helped him build confidence, creativity and essential life skills.

“It’s always inspiring to see young people like Neo show such enthusiasm for learning,” said Angelia. “Education is meant to be engaging and meaningful, and Neo truly made us proud.”

TC Robertson Nature Reserve is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a Birthday Family Day on Sunday, October 26. This event was postponed last month due to wet weather. Guests can expect a potjiekos competition. Contact Dana Daniels on 083 2651029 for more info on this comp. The Mongoose Tea Garden will be open and there will be some great live entertainment. Children can enjoy the jumping castle. Bargain hunters can browse through the stalls on offer at the flea market. The event starts at 09:00 and there is no entrance fee at the gate.

The Rec Club Market at Relton Hall, Pennington takes place on November 1, from 09:00 to 12:00.

The Free Market (natural, local, handcrafted goods) is on November 2 at TC Robertson Nature Reserve in Scottburgh, from 09:00 to 15:00. Showcase your goods. For bookings or enquiries, contact 064 0122044.

Clansthal’s new drop off point for recycling is the open area under the power lines on Palmkloof Road. Dates are: November 5 and 19 and December 10.

The next Pennington Conservancy market will be held at the Beach Café on December 16. Watch this space for more information.
