OPINION: Public Diwali show in Port Shepstone thrills and inspires

Special thanks were extended to the organising committee.

On behalf of the Port Shepstone and District Andhra Sabha, we extend our heartiest congratulations and warmest compliments to the Port Shepstone Hindu Cultural Federation for hosting an exceptionally well-attended and truly entertaining public Diwali Show at the Andhra Hall this month. The show was honoured by the presence of distinguished representatives from the Consulate General of India, Durban.

The day’s celebrations, which began with a vibrant Diwali Parade through the Port Shepstone CBD, beautifully showcased unity, culture and devotion. It was deeply inspiring to witness the various Hindu religious and cultural bodies coming together in harmony to present a colourful and uplifting programme featuring song, dance, sketches, and soulful bhajans – culminating in a lively musical finale.

Special accolades are extended to the organising committee under the leadership of DD Naidoo, together with his dedicated executive committee and volunteers, for their meticulous planning, tireless efforts, and commitment in ensuring the event’s resounding success.

May the federation and its leadership be abundantly blessed for their continued service in promoting Hindu culture, unity and spirituality within our community.
