It’s the last paper for July. We head into windy and cool August in KZN – which we are never ready for and about which we complain endlessly!
I read some great news: something went wrong in Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Italy and Denmark. They are going back to printed books and handwriting due to excessive screen time. I think schools and learners will benefit by this change.
Don’t forget that this weekend is voter registration weekend, August 1 and 2, from 08:00 to 17:00.

A Scottburgh Saps CPF special general meeting will be held at the Curtis Hall at the Blue Marlin Hotel on Thursday, August 13, from 16:00. The purpose of the meeting is to fill vacant positions of the CPF station executive. The public is encouraged to participate to strengthen the CPF and Saps to curb crime.
Reminder: Elders Voice has taken on nine beautiful kittens who had nowhere to go. They bring so much joy and comfort to the residents. Members of the community are requested for donations of cat food to keep all the kittens happy and healthy.
