“With only their instruments and a plot to share, these dynamic artists have come together to spread the gift of time travel through the sound of music, promising to take us back, back, and further, serenading the audience with pieces by Franz Schubert, Aram Khachaturian, Cardillo, César Franck, Joe Darion, Mitch Leigh, and classically arranged South African tunes,” said Motsatse.
S
he added: “Inspired by the words of Louis Armstrong, “Music is life itself,” Madikizela shares the same sentiments as Sir Louis Armstrong, as he realised at a tender age that music is, indeed, life. For Motsatse, every piece is history.”
She said the event will start at 4pm, adding that people who would like to get one of the 20 free tickets should send a WhatsApp message with their name and surname to 082 7842585.
