Generous donations for two organisations
Many families go hungry on a daily basis.
Port Shepstone Child Welfare and Hibiscus Food For Life recently received a donation of R5 000 each from Property Port Estate Agents.
According to Beverley Rolfe of Property Port, Port Shepstone Child Welfare has in excess of 1 500 families registered in their books who they try to help regularly with food parcels.
Rolfe added that Hibiscus Food for Life goes out daily to different communities along the South Coast feeding them biryani.

“Property Port Estate Agents have regularly made a difference in their community by donating to various local charities. Initially, they donated a large sum at a time to one organisation. But since the onset of Covid-19, the need required by these charitable organisations has grown substantially that Property Port Agents decided to donate smaller amounts to different organisations,” said Rolfe, adding that this time around, Port Shepstone Child Welfare and Hibiscus Food For Life each received R5 000 to assist with feeding of the poor in the different communities they cater to.
Rolfe said both the organisations expressed the increase in poverty that exists in the community, emphasisng how many families go hungry on a daily basis.
“Both these organisations make a difference daily. And they were extremely grateful to Property Port’s agents for their donations.
